對同學來說,尋找「鳥蹤」是一個有趣的活動。同學明白到大自然近在咫尺,是生活的一部分。學會觀察大自然、學會欣賞大自然,體會民胞物與的精神。
「走過自然天地」
「第三屆全港小學生物速查『100』」由可觀自然教育中心暨天文館及長春社主辦,活動以野外定向形式進行,讓同學透過在大自然尋找不同類別的生物,認識香港多樣化的生物,從而提升對於自然保育的關注和素養。
可譽同學積極參與賽事,其中一隊參賽同學於限時內紀錄30種或以上的物種,獲得「球蘭獎」。另一隊參賽同學於限時內紀錄50種或以上的物種,獲得「裳鳳蝶獎」。以下是獲獎名單:

親親大自然,讓人洗滌心靈。親親大自然,學會與自然共處。可譽同學參與以上兩項競賽,明白了大自然的奧妙,感受到愛護自然的意義。
2018-19 Hong Kong Park Green Hunt
Over 170 students from 19 primary schools forming 38 teams took part in 2018-19 Hong Kong Park Green Hunt. As nature lovers, Ho Yu students participated in this competition and competed with other contestants. Their bird watching ability and team work were assessed. We are pleased to announce that they eventually received Merit Awards. Participating students include:

Students found ‘bird finding’ a fun and rewarding activity. They could learn to admire the beauty of nature and enhance their observation skills. Most importantly, they can foster a sense of affinity with the nature.
Pilgrimage of the Nature
Jointly organized by Ho Koon Nature Education cum Astronomical Centre (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) and The Conservancy Association, “100 Species Identification Contest “was held. Through exploring the nature by orienteering, participating students were able to search and identify different species and enrich their knowledge of biodiversity, thus raising their awareness of nature conservation.
Ho Yu students actively took part in the competition and performed very well. One team identified more than 30 species while another team identified more than 50 species within a time limit. Each team was awarded a prize and the details are below:

The two competitions carry great significance for Ho Yu students who understand mankind is a part of nature and living in harmony with it certainly helps build a sustainable living environment for all forms of life. It is everyone’s responsibility to embrace and protect the nature.
